AirTalk Wireless offers both Lifeline and the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) benefits.

  • Lifeline is a government assistance program that offers eligible customers free cellular phone services every month.
  • On the other hand, the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a long-term initiative that offers subsidized monthly broadband internet services and particular linked devices. It is run by the FCC and offers qualified users a new tablet as well as unlimited data, calls, and texts. The Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) was superseded by the new government aid program known as ACP on December 31, 2021.

As part of the ACP device discount, only Lifeline and ACP-eligible clients are eligible to get a brand-new tablet. The price is affordable even if the tablet is not completely free. For those who qualify, the co-pay is just $10.01. Remember that this deal is only valid while supplies last and is subject to FCC rules and modifications.

      Hello,

We do provide free unlimited talk & text plan and free smartphone if you apply for ACP or combo Lifeline/ACP with us. You can also get a tablet if you pay for $10.01 Copay (no provider can give it for free due to ACP program condition stating that subscribers must pay more than $10 for a tablet). Our plan do provide some good amount of data for your usage every month, and there’s also an upgrade option which give you a lot more data at the cost of $1/month. The big advantage only Airtalk offers is that you can pick the phone model you want, like iphone 7 or samsung S8 .etc. No other provider let you do that and the brands of phone they provide aren’t often the iconic ones such as Apple, Samsung…

In case you wish to keep your old phone, you can choose the option Bring Your Own Device.

I have cell service from another provider that I want to keep, is there a way I can get the free tablet and the data, but won’t interfere with my cell service..
Meaning, the tablet will not have cell service just data service to use.

I don’t want it affecting my other provider cell service, but they don’t offer the tablet…

        Hello,

Thank you for your concern but by government regulations, Lifeline/ACP can only be used once per household.
The only way that I can think of in your situation is that: you may keep your Lifeline program with your current provider while apply for ACP with us.
The moment you apply for the same program but from different providers, only the last one counts, and all other applications will be disactivated.
        Have a nice day.

  1. I tried to apply for the free tablet through excess telecom and they were saying that I had already received the benefit and I’ve never received a tablet before. I got a phone from Safelink wireless back in 2016 or 2017 can’t remember through the lifeline program but I never received a tablet. I paid the co-pay and then they said that there was a problem with my order for the tablet and I couldn’t receive it and they kept my money it was $11. Currently I have the plan through QA wireless that offers unlimited data text and phone calls but I didn’t receive a free phone from them and they also say that I can’t get the tablet for the copayment. Can I get the tablet through Airlink wireless if I pay the co-pay?
