In today’s age, we’re no stranger to identity theft and people using fake names and accounts to steal our sensitive information. We’ve made quite a name for ourselves and unfortunately, we find that some people try to impersonate us. While we’re flattered that other companies want to pretend to be us, we want to keep our customers safe from these imposters.

Keep reading to know how to detect an imposter:

We Don’t Hire Agents

Be cautious of people posing as “AirTalk Wireless agents”. If you are contacted by someone claiming to be an AirTalk Wireless agent, please do not provide them with any personal information. We don’t employ agents to enroll customers. Please report them to AirTalk Wireless customer support at (855) 924-7825 if you experience this encounter! Here is an example of an imposter account for your reference.

Know our Contact Info

Imposters catch their victims best by phone calls or emails so it’s best to know our contact information to avoid weird calls and sketchy emails. Our contact information is listed under our Contact Us page and if the email or phone number doesn’t match up, it’s not us. If you’re unsure if it’s us or not, it can’t hurt to double check! Email us the details of the website and/or account at info@airtalkwireless.com

What We Ask

Since we are a government program, we ask for certain credentials to verify that you are really you when applying for our services. Some of the information we ask for is sensitive, which is why we are so upfront about it. We list the proof of identification that we ask for on our website for you to review. Visit our How to Qualify page for more information on what we ask of you when you apply. If the identity theft is asking for anything we don’t have listed on the site, you should probably report them.

How Do I Know for Sure

Here are some tips to see if our website is legit. Study the address bar and the URL. Our URL is airtalkwireless.com, if you see something other than this, ignore it and report it. Like we said before, you can check out our contact page to make sure the info matches with our phone number and email. You can also follow us on social media. You can find us on Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube and TikTok ONLY! Follow our monthly blog for lastest updates. We do not have Pinterest, Snapchat or BeReal so avoid accounts you see on these sites. You can find the link to our accounts on our website to make sure it’s us. Lastly, visit Google to verify our address.

In an Eggshell

We love being able to provide our customers with a free smart device and free monthly data, talk and text service so you can stay connected to your loved ones. We pride ourselves in the work we do, while keeping you and your information safe. So be aware of imposters, report them if you come across one and stay safe!

Thank you for your continued support!

I was qualified for lifeline then lost it when I replied or checked status and used different address. How can I fix this? And is there unlimited data for ACP and lifeline consumers?

    Thank you,

I ordered a phone somewhere around the 9th of November and on the 19th, I tracked my phone, and it is still in transit now it is the 27th of December and still no phone. I’m not sure what to do at this point but I haven’t even got my phone. I have already talked to the post office about this issue and there is not much I can do about it they say so I’m asking you what my options at this point are.

I tried to apply for a phone, because I desperately need one, .and someone already applied for one through your company! I found out due to being denied for already having an account.. and apparently further investigating they have one in my name in another company!!! I had my identity stolen. Ive reported it but still no word back about it.. Im still going through the motions having things removed from my credit score and it seems everyday im finding more out.
